Hype Show Tonight @ Club Opera opening up for Travis Porter

whew! what a night! RemoteKontrol was able to open up for Travis Porter (as listed in previous post) and they KILLED it! yet again.

Thanks to Chris Woodhouse and Profound for making this gig a great one.

Chris W. performed 2 songs and danced while Profound rapped on one of his tracks and then RK got on stage while Chris introduced them and glided off the stage.  From what i could personally see, the crowd faces were literally like =O. litteraly  and when i say this club was packed wall to wall, that club was packed WALL TO WALL.  Back to RK, crowd goes wild as they get into the middle of the routine and are welcomed to a big applause when they finish. RK pretty much got bombarded with daps and handshakes as they exit the stage and that happened all the way to the car.

Travis Porter!

RemoteKontrol will be at Club Opera in Atlanta doing their thing on Wednesday! But thats not all!  Guess who they will be opening for?? Mr. All The Way Turnt Up Travis Porter himself.  Travis Porter has been dominating the airwaves for quite awhile with his hit and his show coming up is guaranteed to bring in at LEAST 1000 people. But since this is where Travis Porter resides, ATL got his back so we are hoping that alot more will be there.

So when that amazing show comes along, I will be posting TONS of pictures!

Dubstep Artist Rusko!

Another update of what RemoteKontrol has been doing...

On December 17th, 2009(Just one week after LMFAO), RemoteKontrol was asked to perform at the Rusko show. Rusko is a HUGE dubstep artist and I now understand why.

Turns out that RK would be OPENING for Rusko and this event was a sold out show. THe show was held New Earth venue in Athens, GA. So Rk being who they are, started dancing in the club and getting the attention of everyone. Everyone just thought they were great dancers but did not know they were actually performing onstage. 

So, finally the time came (12:15 AM) for the guys to perform and when they got up there the crowd went crazy.  Hands were thrown in the air, heads bouncing up and down, and jumping up and down in the middle of the routine.  Of course Rk killed it again and Rusko himself said that he never saw anything like that and they were dope.

LMFAO party rock tour featuring Shwayze, Far East Movement, Paradiso Girls, and Space Cowboy

Sooo what was the RK Crew doing on December 10th, 2009?


rocking out with LMFAO and Far East Movement at the Charlotte, NC show.

So my friend, Nikole Kristine, happened to be touring with LMFAO [as the polka dot bikini girl] and i wanted to go see her. Me being me, i did my research and saw the Far East Movement [FM] was looking for dance crews to come on stage during the song "Girls On The Dance Floor". Light bulb goes off in my head and i let Julius know about it. So of course we sent them the press kit and got the green light to go.

So me, my best friend Xavier, and RK packed up in my car Thursday morning to begin the 4 hour drive to NC.

At the show, RK killed it on stage doing their routine to GOTDF and got to come out and dance again for "Ape Sh*t", the new song for FM. So after frolicking around dancing and taking pictures with fans, LMFAO asked them to come dance on stage for the final songs of the night! In my opinion, that was the highlight of the night. The crowd was going wild for ' The Gold Guys' and even LMFAO [Red Foo and Sky Blue] were excited. Luckily, we have footage of that night and hopefully more will come to the surface when more people put vids on Youtube.It was a great, great concert and everybody had a fun time. After the concert, we all went to go visit Nikole and her friend [LMFAO Publicist] Elle, at their hotel and had a great chat about tour life. Yes, we gathered some dirt but i'm not telling =D

RemoteKontrol

RemoteKontrol is a group of three enormously talented, animated popping, locking and robotic styled dancers. They were featured on the hit TV show "Americas Got Talent".

RemoteKontrol consists of:

Iglide [Julius C] Known for his masterful footwork. He brings experience from a stage acting career into his work as a dancer. Iglide can dance to literally any style of music and create a whole new world from it.

Chibi [Bryan Gaynor] Known for the style on Botting. [he's a robot! haha] Chibi is most famous from being on "So You Think You Can Dance" and "The Ellen Degeneres Show"

Nonstop [Marquese S] Known for dominating in his style of popping and his animation skills. He has won 1st place at the Southeast Dance Competition, Skills for Soul, The National Breakers League, Battleground, The Dance Invasion, and Street Jam [2008].
